Hey ThinG, you do know that m_k is British, right?!?! :-) LOL!!
This thread has been good fun!! |
"sunbed bandits from Germany "
That was really funny, I wish I would have invented "sunbed bandits". To any German on this board: stop doing that, it is really annoying. |
I always think the same thins when the head flight attendant is finishing reading out the safety notices and then usually says something like "there's a light and call button in the arm rest of your chair if you need to attract our attention.......", what she is really thinking is "Hey S£$% Head, push that call button and I will physically shove the life vest (which is in a package under your seat) where the sun don't shine and pull in a downward motion on the two yellow tags to inflate!!!"
Maybe its just me :) |
No its not just you, some of them are vicious, but the ones that keep smiling scare me more. I dont know whether to be impressed with the constant smilers or concerned!
|
Aine -
I agree! After reading this post and laughing to myself I have to say does anyone remember the scene from Trains, planes and automobiles", where Steve Martin has been let down by his car hire company and is confronted by the "smiling" lady at the desk!! Oh don't you just feel like letting loose like he does from time to time at these "smilers!!!!! |
pnestor: I will have to re-rent that movie! I cant blame them with this one - but have you ever watched their expressions when somebody tries to pass them when they are on the asile with their little trollies? I have been seriously waiting for one of them to go off the deep end - for some reason they never say anything then though, when it is reasonable for them to, or they dont tell people to stop talking during their safety talk. But press that little button for an unscheduled glass of water and !?!?!?

I read the title as Nice (as in France) people get ahead!
