Need help-Italian translation

Hello,

I`m at work and need to send a fax to a Business partner on vacation in Tuscany.
How do you say...Confidentially, please put forward to Mr.XX?
I tried Babelfish, but I`m not too confident in them...Christina, Helen, someone else???

Thanks in advance

Miriam

This may not be perfect (I'm American and have never had need to write this), but it should work and be understood:

Si prega di involtrare in via confidenziale.

Hello Miriam,

I've never had to write 'Business Italian' but I'll stick my neck out. I think it would be:

La prego di spedire in confidenza al Sig. ...

N.B. It's not clear from your English, Miriam, but instead of SPEDIRE you would use SPEDIRLO or SPEDIRLA if you are asking your business partner to forward, for example, a document (LO) or letter (LA)

I hope this makes sense.

Steve

Oh Miriam
I would love to help you but I don't understand what you mean in English!!

I think she means a notice at the top or bottom to this effect:
CONFIDENTIAL
Please forward....

Miriam, I believe is very poor service to your customer to fax confidential information to an unsecured fax connection. For the record also, confidential information is supposed to state so in the top AND the bottom. If he asked you to fax it, then he should either be at the other side awaiting for it or fork the $$$ and express-mail it.

Thanks to all who tried to help.

To the last poster-I wouldn`t try to fax really confidential documents. I just wanted to make sure that our client receives the document and that not somebody from the staff puts it in some drawer (had happened to me).
But thanks again for your attention, I just got a call that everything went fine.

Miriam
