For those who were concerned about the cat at the Bonaparte:

I am apprised by a recent visitor that Napoleon has gone to live with relatives in the South of France.

When I was a child my parents told me my elderly dog had gone to live on a farm in the country. It was kind of them.

I thought you were going to tell us they'd opened all those caskets (is it 6 or 7?) and the last one was empty. Much nicer to hear that this Napoleon is a cat and to visualize him lazing around in the lavendar fields.

And in that warmer environ of the south, he'll finally keep his paw out of his coat.

Jean, if they open up those caskets the Grande Arm&eacute;e will assemble again! Imagine it--all those marshals, the beating drums, the tricouleur in the smoke ... best let sleeping emperors lie.

This is the first I heard that Napolean is gay. It's a bit difficult to believe.
