All right, let's compromise - maybe Dobby's Canadian. Can anyone with a long memory remember if there's ever been a Canadian with an overactive sense of entitlement getting narked at the responses here?

" a Canadian with an overactive sense of entitlement getting narked at the responses here?"
Narked enough to leave for a few months, perhaps? |
I wonder why so many people think Dobby is a "he".
Well, look at the latest photo in "his" profile — assuming that's really Dobby, of course. ;-) |
Just in case anyone is wondering the photo is of Harry Styles
Maybe the Dobmeister is Taylor Swift in disguise - eh Dobby? |
"Narked enough to leave for a few months, perhaps?"
Well, I have been wondering. |
Harry is from Cheshire, which was my fist instinct on the location of Dobby's "vacation flat".
I also could not see a teen boy wasting this kind of time winding up a bunch of 50-something Americans. |

Hey, i object to that. I'm not american. |
Well spotted, sofarsogood! One or two of Dobby's previous profile pictures were of Harry Styles as well, and can be seen in Google Images. :-))

"Life is what you make it anywhere you go.>
Then why shell out all the cash to travel? Might as well stay home." Well, that wasn't what I meant, but make of it whatever you will. |
I got your point michigan. :) If it helps. I think most people here understood what you meant as well.

But you're not wound up either, right?>> so good you posted twice, Patrick! no, I'm not wound up. Sad that someone is wasting their time like this, but not wound up. |
"Anne" + "Wound up" is an oxymoron!

Are posts are 100% true. I am 18 years old. Why would I keep this going since May 2012? I'm American (in case anyone is wondering). And what ''British useages'' am I using? And when did I say I had little interaction with other people??? You're all just making stuff up.
But anyway I change my mind about coming back next year. I might get a flat in Australia :D What do you think?? Btw is it rude to let someone skip you in line? I didn't have my money ready so I let this other guy skip me, when I said he could skip me he looked over at me like I had two heads. :| |
Maybe he didn't know what "skip me" meant
"a flat" would be a "British useage" |
Dobby I just can't resist this. Pleeease try the flat in Australia. I believe there are some very nice ones in Alice Springs and Darwin is good as well.
|
TipsyGus, a very good recommendation, but I think that Oodnadatta or Marble Bar would be better.
|
I am not familiar with the term "skip me." I would say I let someone "go ahead of me." Must be some regional American term.
