Monty Python

I heard that the Monty Python in Rome is a great inexpensive place to stay, especially for travelers traveling alone. Has anyone stayed there?

Burma?thereareno Jul 26th, 2001 12:28 PM

Let's not go there; it's a silly place.

Mr. Go Jul 26th, 2001 12:29 PM

Never stayed there...but I heard all they serve for breakfast is Spam. There's Spam, egg, sausage & Spam, Spam-Spam-Spam, baked beans & Spam...

elaine Jul 26th, 2001 12:32 PM

I thought they served dead parrot. <BR>I have a file on dead parrots;if you'd like to see it, email me.

Lori Jul 26th, 2001 12:40 PM

Don't forget to bury the cat before you go if it's mostly dead.

Thyra Jul 26th, 2001 12:41 PM

Uggh it's a horrible place! In 1999 my husband and I were staying there, enjoying our breakfast of spam with beans when all of a sudden this cardinal with a funny accent burst in and interrupted us, asking questions and torturing us with cushy pillows! <BR>We weren't expecting the Spanish Inquisition!

sandi Jul 26th, 2001 12:44 PM

you can stay at the Castle Anthrax...

christina Jul 26th, 2001 12:56 PM

but the worthest thing at this place is: they let you eat till you explode or give you some very strange lessions in silly walking. if you don't follow them, they let you write on the forum romanum at least 1000 times phrases in other languages. silly walking!! <BR> <BR>christina

I hear they're holding the next Upper Class Twit of the Year contest there.

brian Jul 26th, 2001 01:21 PM

Why would you want to go to Rome anyway? I mean, what have the Romans ever done for us? <BR> <BR>Oh what I'd give to spat at in the face!

Capo Jul 26th, 2001 01:30 PM

No, but I understand there's some lovely shrubbery in the courtyard out back.

jhm Jul 26th, 2001 01:42 PM
