we will be in greece this coming july.how long does it take to drive from delphi to kalambaka? also,the days and hours to visit the monasteries of meteora.

I'm sorry i can't help you about hours to visit the monasteries, but i think they're open every day.

Women MUST wear skirts in order to visit the monasteries.

The monasteries provide tie-on or slip-on skirts for women in trousers.

we took an overnight trip from athens to meteora
the whole trip from athens was about five hours stopping on the way to delphi for about an hour

its a long way ..about 3 and half hours from memory from delphi..very winding road..we were driven past Lamia plain with the aegean sea on our left..the police stopped the coach and checked his speed disc..
we had a half hour break at the shell station at 4pm and then it was another two hours ..the road becomes straight again
we stopped at the byzantine eikonon where they make icons which took about 45 minutes though
so i guess going on a tour takes much longer
