curryscurry: great minds think alike. I wish we had as much time as you though to explore Tuscany. We are planning a day trip out of Florence through the Chianti region but the rest of the area will have to wait until next time. Are you taking the train to Venice on Sunday?

Curryscurry May 6th, 2003 10:10 PM

Hi lm - we are taking the morning train to Venice from Rome on Monday actually.

One week to my first trip to Italy.. I am soo excited.

Have a good trip all you fellow-Italian-trippers. :))

Only 6 days and counting until my maiden trip to Scotland! I'm already so keyed up I can't sleep.

Hello from misty NJ. My wife and I stopped over on the way from NC to Italy to visit grandkids and drop off the puppy. Leaving May 15th to Milan via Amsterdam on KLM and visiting CT for 3 days, Florence (got opera tickets) 2 days, Tuscany 4 days (with car) and Rome 3 days then a 2 day stopover in Amsterdam and return. We're excited and glad the international situation is more stable.

So, where are all the trip reports?
Did you have any funny/memorable experiences?

TNT Jul 7th, 2003 03:20 PM

Natalia, I posted mine, but the question is, GARYNFLA where is your report? You're fans are getting restless.

GARYNFLA Jul 8th, 2003 03:10 PM

Hello everyone, I do apologize for the delay in getting my report up and running. My pc at home is shot and I am shopping for a new pc. I lost half of my data I had already started. I do have all of my notes and promise to get my trip report to you all very soon. Right now I am on the pc in my office (at work) and travel is a filtered subject and I bypassed it for a few minutes.
