I didn't know Mitt Romney was planning a visit to France, with the intention to order extra-large, extra-strong coffee in a mug.
I thought coffee was a no-no for Mormons. |
In Paris in 2004 a friend and I were staying in the Bastille Area (Richard Lenoir). There were lots of bakeries so in the afternoon we would buy a pastry and get coffee at McDonalds down the street and take both back to our hotel.
In Vienna I sometimes got breakast at their McDonalds. 1 euro for a quite decent cappucino and they did sell macarons also (which I LOVE; in fact I was thrilled when on a trip to Sarasota, FL a few weeks ago they have a French macaron shop on St Armands Circle (rather upscale boutique shops). i do need alot of caffeine to get going; this is why I will sometimes stay at hotel which includes breakfast (you usually get the French press cofee so more than one cup) |
