What was the price of your dinner at Le Petit Bofinger?

Been reading up on restaurants in the Marais for my trip next May and I'm hoping to keep costs down.

Note that 80% of the clientele in rues Sainte Croix, Vieille du Temple, Francs Bourgeois (and a number of others in the area) will be gay, in case that is an issue for you.

Le Pamphlet mentioned above is a little pricier than what you may be looking for. Also as of the beginning of October it was closed for renovation.

Le Petit Pamphlet, affiliated with Le Pamphlet, is open; I had a good meal here last month for not too much money.

We loved our trip, we actually started out 4 nights in Amsterdam and there we saw the beautiful Van Gogh and a Marine museum. When we came to Paris and stayed in the Marais area we basically just took it all in. We walked for miles everyday and explored everywhere not only the Marais. In the Marais we saw Place Des Vosges and along there we saw a wonderful artist who sold his art work, which I thoughts was lovely, also along Rue Du Temple we saw some art galleries but we didn’t go in just browsed from the street. We loved the narrow streets with historic lamps and balconies with flowers hanging, we loved the small café shops and restaurants and we walked into many beautiful stores as windows shopping just to check it all out.

& loved it.

The price for our dinner at the Petit Bofinger was $77.00 – you right -it’s not cheap
But it was wonderful with lots of character and flare.

Sigh... I never get tired of hearing about the Marais and Paris. My dream is to have an apartment there with those wonderful wooden beams on the ceiling, a fireplace...
