Malpensa Airport

We have an extremely early flight on KLM out of Malpensa 6:15 a.m. Does anyone know what time we should get there? Do you know what time the terminal opens for check in.

Thanks so much.

This information can only be provided by KLM. Most airlines have on their website a table with latest check-in times. Usually, for intra-European flights, you must check-in 30min before departure, sometimes, esp. with baggage, 45min before departure.

The check-in counter usually opens 90min, sometimes 120min before departure.

BTW, 6:15 is not "extremely early". It is rush hour for business people with a meeting at 9:00 at their final destination. The airport may be very crowded at this time.

To be on the safe side, it might be a good idea to be at 5:00 at the check-in counter.

Thank you so much for the information. We are trying to decide whether to get a room the night before or whether just to stay at the airport all night.

It will be very hard to stay overnight at the airport. It is not very big and does not have many facilities.

And since they are flights only between 6:00 and 22:00, most facilities will be closed at night.

I would stay in a hotel. Even a few hours of sleep are better than nothing.

Stay at Villa Malpensa the night before. They have a wonderful restaurant and the hotel is adjacent to the airport.
