London Walks

Which one have you done and do you recommend? Trying to nail down sightseeing plans....having difficulty.

I have done many of the walks and would recommend all of them. It is simply a matter of what appeals to you. I suggest you go to their website and look at the choices/times/dates offered and chose the one that you find most interesting and fits into your schedule.

Personally I don't care for the Jack the Ripper ones, but they do have fans.

I have taken Jack the Ripper, Haunted London, and the day trip to Oxford-Cotswalds and enjoyed them all. There are so many that I would like to see.

It really depends on your schedule and on what interests you. I have taken 2 and enjoyed both.

I really like the Hampstead Heath one, as it is a bit outside of the city.

Then I took the Marylebourne one. I like it less but partly because I took it on a weekend and the group was huge, and partly 1/2 of the time was spent inside the Wallace Collection (which would have been a good thing had I not had just visited it on my own earlier that day!)

I don't know if they still have these, but we really enjoyed the Bloomsbury Literary Walk and the Lambeth Walk.

My DH and I took the "Pub Crawl". We are in our 50's and we liked it. Good tour guide and we saw parts of London we hadn't been to yet.

We did the "DaVinci Code" tour and the London City tour of churches. Both were excellent.
