Hi Adl,
Dunno. I suppose that your Fall norm would work just fine. Or Spring? My guess is that Summer would bring crowds and that could undermine the chances of a smooth trip.
Those with more experience of those seasons in Brittany should feel free to weigh in here now.
It seems one of those places where you can't go wrong with timing.
I am done. the best season(s)

I missed this when first posted, glad I saw it now. Great report. Wonderful pictures! I'm considering Paris for next spring and really want to see all that street art!

zebec, I just did a fast slide down the rabbit hole. I will go back and soak it all in. I have never seen better photos in a TR. Must ask what your camera is. While knowing it's not the camera but is the person behind it. We love Paris but I may need to expand our horizons. We live in an area of water, boats and summer tourists and I'm drawn to the city but you have tempted me. Thank you for a great report.

Thank you Susan and GM. I use a Nikon D7000 and always work on the results after we return home, using Adobe Lightroom.
We just got back from Barcelona (first time), the Pyrenees (both sides), Ainsa, Luz St Sauveur and Paris.
Will eventually post a related TR. Also plan to post another belated TR on our previous trip: Calabria/Rome.

Mrs Z was particularly exhausted from this latest trip (Pyrenees hiking) and has insisted that we aim for less-challenging trips from now on.
Thus, we have booked Santa Barbara for February - first time there. And first time-ever travelling in February.
I am done. The end.
