Does a city need to be steam cleaned to be enjoyed?
We left Prague early in favor of more time in Vienna. We thought the city was attractive and the people very friendly. |
another 4 year old thread.!!!!!
|
why resurrect such an old thread why not start a new one.
soem folk are never happy regardless of where they go. |
How about?:
Just returned from Prague - August 2007....I think its overrated |
Just because someone doesn't like Prague doesn't mean they should be condemned to Disneyland! (And don't you mean Epcot?) Thought Prague way too full of tourists (speaking English, often, lol) but loved Budapest, arguably dirtier and more decrepit, and certainly with plenty of foreign food.
|
We are going to Prague this summer, so we'll form our own opinion then, but of the people we know who have been there, about half thought it was great and the other half did not. Interestingly enough, of those who didn't, almost all have recommended Vienna instead.

Whether this thread is four years old or from this morning
when I hear someone complain about cleanliness and it is not does not contain the phrase dead animnals or disease breding garbage, I do not listen to the rest of the description. If you want clean go to computer chip manufacturer for your next trip. |
My son spent a semester abroad in Prague and loved it. I fly overseas everyweek for the airlines and I don't "get it either". Seriously, I bid Rome,Paris or Munich before I would bid another Prague layover. I have a history degree and appreciate the history and beauty of the city but would rather not spend another 24 hours there.I love Rome but alot of people cannot stand the city so I quess it is whatever floats your boat?
