if you guys hate lisa so much, and if you guys are so smart at knowing a troll when you see one then why do you insist on bringing her message TTT.

If you are sooooo very smart then you should know that if you leave it alone then it goes away.

But NO! you don't know how to leave it alone do you. You are so obsessed with your own self that you can't help but touching it and bringing up TTT.

you are probably sitting there now just frothing at the mouth trying to think of somthing smart to say but I doubt that you will.

but if i know you bashers like I think I do then you won't leave it alone. Instead you'll keep touching it and touching it till you bring it TTT again.

Just in case you haven't gotten my drift, I am accusing you of sitting at your keyboard with no life except with your little (very) fella.

Now Jason, forgive me but I don't think you fall into the same category as the rest of those so called players but thats only becuase you are just not nice (or at least on this thread)

Dear Lisa;
I just have to remark on the rude people repling to your message.I do not understand what anyone gets out of this kind of behavior.
I was under the impression that this board is for people to share their experiences and knowlege with each other.
I recently gave a women asking for hotel advice in Paris some info. which she apparently did not like and she all; but called me a bitch. This is unnecessary; if you do not like a comment or answer on this baord then move on .
Can't We all Just Get Along !

Hey, whenisatrollatroll:

My "fella" and I are quite allright thank you. And, no, FYI, I do not just sit at my computer to look up trolls like Lisa's. It's just that when I'm not having amnesia, I'm back at the Hotel de la Paix in Paris looking up this site and come across stupid messages such as Lisa's and yours.

Didn't you see me in The Bourne Identity??

tom Jul 4th, 2002 09:47 PM

A little perspective is in order here

All of you nice people posting to Lisa's post are looking at it as a "stand-alone" thread about a wonderful visit in Paris. You are understandably reacting to the others thinking they are just being mean.

The others are people who first read Lisa's idiotic thread about the awful time they had in London - the only places they seem to have visited were the seediest parts of soho and the tube.

So both sides are right.

My opinion - if she is not a troll - is that she is very closed minded and very touchy, amd makes up stories.

Tom makes a good point. However, this Lisa character has also been posting remarks about someone else's post regarding Italy. "Lisa" made remarks about Venice very similar to the remarks "she" made about London in regards to the city being smelly and ugly. Ironically there were no remarks about Venice's red light district although she mentioned she saw two prostitutes there.

Obviously "Lisa" is not for real.

A classic example of mentioning certain aspects because they think that's what they should be seeing...East Europeans being grim, Americans fat and uncouth, all this skinny crap etc..

Carolyn, Le Jules Verne restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower. This is where you should take lots of pictures! If you have reservations at Jules Verne, you can take their elevator directly to their restaurant. When you go to the top of the Eiffel tower, you will also stop on the 2nd floor first, then take another elevator to the top. Remember to take lots of pictures when you get to level 2, they turn out much better! You can call them at 33 145 55 61 44 to make the reservation for lunch (pick 12:15 instead of 1:00 PM) so that even if you can't get a window view, you'll get full view until the other people arrive, hopefully they booked at 1:00 PM. Any way, for lunch you must book a few months in advance and for dinner you must book more than 5 months(if I can remember right). The sooner you book the better chance you'll get the window table. Don't forget to call and confirm the night before! When your waiter give you the menu, on the first page, it will be written in French, that is the fix price. Just ask them to translate it for you, it was EUR $49 for a three-course meal. The average main course was EUR$45. The food, the service, the view was incredible!
Just for the record, I didn't write anything that saids I saw two prostitutes in Venice! In London, we stayed near Picadilly Circus and Soho, which is NOT the Red light district. And my husband was walking in Soho when he was approached by one. And in Paris, we were trying to look for the Moulin Rouge, after seeing the movie.

Lisa - I still haven't decided if you are a troll or not. But just to clarify something for you -- Soho and Picadilly Circus are DEFINITELY a major red light district of London. There are more nasty street hookers around Kings Cross and other places - but Soho is the main area to go to get into trouble.

Not that there is anything wrong with hanging out there since many legitimate theatres are also in the area. Also many good ethnic restaurants. But girlie shows, prostitutes - of all genders and all ages - and shady clubs abound.

Most of it is safe as long as you don't look for trouble. But maybe that was your problem . . . .

xxx Jul 7th, 2002 07:46 PM

Well, has Lisa abandoned the thread? Maybe she and hubby are busy in their local red light district?

Hardy Jul 15th, 2002 10:56 AM

No offense, but I just had to top this thread one more time. I can't stop laughing at Europa's "slips in poodle doo"
