I just signed up on this site. Okay, call me paranoid, but should there be a concern about putting all confirmations (among other things) out there together on this site? That gives the people in charge of the Web site access to plane, hotel, car, etc.--in may times pre-paid--reservations?

Maybe I'm missing some safeguard that's in place. I signed up, but haven't put my upcoming trip details in yet.

Thoughts?

I was just thinking the same thing. I definately am uncomfortable having all that sort of information available on-line.

Random people knowing exactly when I will be away from home, where I am going, etc. etc.

I stick with the "old-fashioned" way and print everything out myself...

You see, my daughter is constantly cautioning me about this kind of thing. She says I would be amazed at what people can do. I'll definitely check out what (if any) security this website has before putting anything on it.

This is definitely a legitimate concern. I looked up the policies and I still feel safe using the site. Here is the link to their privacy policy:

I am going on the assumption that no one really cares about my personal confirmation numbers for hotels, cars, etc. The CIA could undoubtedly steal the information, but I don't think that they'd bother.
