James Bond locations in UK
 

To all you James Bond buffs out there - do any of you know any locations in the UK where the James Bond films were shot that are worth a visit? Is there a museum anywhere?<BR><BR>Thanking you<BR>Goldfinger

One of the more recent films included the Millenium Dome (not sure if it still exists), with a boat chase (I believe) on the Thames.

I think the Science Museum has a James Bond exhibition. One of the bid museums certainly has, as I am off to a 'James Bond' theme christmas ball.

The Millennium Dome certainly does still exist! They spent so much money on it but nobody wants to lease it now!<BR><BR>MI-6 headquarters is next to Vauxhall Cross underground station. You can get a good view by walking across the bridge over the Thames. You can also walk on the sidewalk in front of the building. For a spy agency building to be out in the open is funny.<BR><BR>There's a building next to the Canadian High Commission (embassy) that was Q's lab in &quot;The Living Daylights&quot;. Rent the film and you can see it and take notes.<BR><BR>There are websites with more locations.

Hi Goldfinger,<BR>The London Science Museum has a James Bond exhibit on display until the end of April 2003. Entrance to the museum is free but there is a separate charge for this exhibit. You can find more info on their website www.sciencemuseum.org.uk<BR>The museum itself is great, one of my favorites and not at all geeky.

It was the opening scenes of &quot;Tomorrow Never Dies&quot; - I think - which was shot along the Thames - from the REAL MI6 headquarters to the Dome, via the Royal Victoria Dock and ended with Bond and a woman sliding down the side of the Dome.

I'm sure I remember local TV news interviewing people who travel around as many of the James Bond locations as they can, in the UK and abroad. There's bound to be a website for them....
