Jack's inimitable travel site-france

This site seems to have lots of good opinionated (which I like) comments on various places in france. How accurate is the info on the site? Anybody had any experiences with the hotel and restaurant recommendations? Thanks.

Hi, Julie,
Would love to see the website-- do you have the address?
I have it. My friend found it just the other day and said I had to see it. It is very interesting.
http://www.jack-travel.com/

I didn't know about this Jack travel site and was just curious. I can tell you that the information on the Belgium section (and the Antwerp part in particular, I live there too) is very accurate. This site is even better than the official Antwerp website. Thanks for sharing!

I've been reading Jack's posts on rec.travel.europe for over 4 yrs. I haven't been to France during that time, so I've had no need for his website. But if I were that is the 1st place I would go:). I would completely trust his advice and recommendations. Regards, Walter

thanks Julie for sharing this site. He visited all the places that I know and those places that had restaurants or hotels
know he hit it on the nose. But as he admits, not a professional, lots is not mentioned, but as he said this is what he knows, use his information, read , look at others, and you'll know what is suited for you.
