I'm going with friends to Spain for two weeks and this is my itinerary: 3 days in Madrid, 3 days in Pamplona for the running of the bulls, three days in Marbella, one day in Sevilla, one day in Barcelona and three days in Ibiza. As I haven't figured out how to write a question as opposed to reply to anyone -- could you all give me some advice on what to do and where to stay in Ibiza? I like to me be in heart of it all, the discos, good restaurants, etc. <BR>

Southern Spain is such a great part of the world. Did Spain and Portugal in the following order: Tavira, Lagos (2), Arcos, Sevilla (2), Madrid (2). While we were constantly on the move (also made stops in Jerez and Carmona), we probably would not have done it any other way. I don't think you need more than one day in Arcos, but stay at the Parador and eat dinner there. This was our first meal in Spain and was an excellent introduction to the wonderful culinary adventure that would follow. Sevilla is a special place. Leave yourself plenty of time for sampling tapas and sherry and chatting with the locals in Santa Cruz. One tip you might want to consider. Michelin has a web site that for a small fee you can input your entire itinerary and they will provide detailed directions for driving. This was helpful.
