Is Tarifa Spain too windy
 
to enjoy several days there?

The coast running northwards from Tarifa is windy, much favoured by windsurfers - here you'd have to find a sheltered spot or lie down out of the wind.<BR>There are lots of great places along this coast - the wind keeps the tourist hordes away.<BR>If you want to go to the tourist beaches, its easy to get a bus east to the Mediterranean coast.<BR>I recommend the Hurricane Hotel 2 miles north of Tarifa.It has stables &amp; there is a national park opposite for walks.<BR>Tarifa itself is a nice little town.You might want to visit Cadiz while in the area - bus from Tarifa.
