And francophile, I can only hope that you're kidding about regarding such innocent and harmless comments as being some sort of personal put-downs. Please, no one's skin can be that thin!!! Especially compared to the definite, rude, and truly nasty accusations and comments some of us really do get subjected to here.

This is so funny. I'm having a little trouble with the posts being slow so looked at this thread. What do I find? Francophile remarking about sarcastic remarks. I just finished posting on a New Year's thread admonishing Francophile and someone else for giving sarcastic remarks and telling her to get a sense of humor. Why can't we all just get along? I don't see anything that was said here in a hurtful way.

I'll repeat my New Year's wish -- let's all get a sense of humor.
