I too am truely addicted and visit the site EVERYDAY and its a real treat to come back to it after being away on a business or personal trip for a few days! I got an email from a lady who got my address from another site. She was sooo thankful for the advice. I was amazed reading her email, I guess, having been aware of the Fodors site for a while, I had probably become used to all the great advice from this Forum! I have ofcourse intorduced this site to her and she wrote back that she was awake till pretty late that evening!

Addicted? Who me? I'm not addicted. I can stop anytime I want. Really I can. How dare you think I'm addicted! I can control myself. I don't need you telling me I'm addicted. Nope, not me!..........
(calling all friends of Eugene F.!)

This site is the most useful and interesting on the web for me. It alone is worth the money i send to my ISP each month. I also have small pictures in my mind of all of the gracious people who are so kind to offer their advice and experience to the novices. It's interesting to read from all of the people who are frequent posters on the topics that i love.
OK I admit it, I'm a total Fodorite Junkie. And I love it!!
This is the best site on the internet bar none. The great travel information, and the high quality of the people that post on it are simply amazing.
Great job Fodor's !!!
Following on from Tina's comments above.....what about pictures?

Like most folks here I too have an image in my mind of most folks who contribute. I have some space on my web site and maybe we could use that for a Fodor's Europe Contributors Pic Page?

Thoughts?

Billy

Marti: I spent a couple of hours yesterday copying info from this site for planning our trip through Italy. A quick, easy way to print just what you want is to open your word processing program, or note pad, and copy to that just the posts that you are interested in. You can then easily print it out from that program AND by saving that document you will have a permanent record of just the posts that are of interest to you. Hope this helps.
Topping for a reminder of earlier discussions concerning forum addiction and with a question.

The earliest post the search function will give me with "fodorite" in it is one titled "Hotels is Prague", posted on 01/07/1999 at 11:13 am. -- I know we used it before that date and I have a faint memory of being the one who coined the phrase, so to speak. Any experts on forum history out there?

This was generated by the use of "fodorite" on the pin ordering page. FYI the "fodorite" site that I have been maintaining gets fairly regular "hits" from the Fodor-folk - the latest this past Monday.
Addicted? No... I can stop anytime I want... I'm leaving now for a little while... Well, I'll leave IN a little while... I must eat at some point... I think I have a husband somewhere... A job... children (boy? girl? who remembers?...
So sorry to hear some people get addicted to this site. Pity you can't all be as strong as I.
Seriously: I' grateful to everyone out there for your help, suggestions, insights, yaddah, yaddah, yaddah. You get the picture!

Not you too Rex, I never would have guessed! It seems they let you have your computer in your padded cell, that was awfully nice of them, now take your medication like a good little boy...
