Safe travels, Ira.

The best foliage is yet to come in Southern Connecticut. Have a safe trip.
|
Don't forget to pick up some lightbulbs during your travels, O Light of Diogenes.
|
Have a great trip but before you go..........how long do you normally wait to hear back from the Bonaparte in Paris? I emailed them several days ago for a reservation at the end of October and have heard nothing. Do you usually call instead for availability? Thanks!

Ira,
Lucky you! I am a teacher, so will have to wait until retirement to see the fall New England colors. Enjoy! S |
Go apple picking on my behalf. I do love Barcelona, but there is nothing that even comes close to the glory of a New England Fall. Nothing.

Hi Ira, may you and your Lady Wife have a beautiful journey.
Our leaves here in Minnesota are brimming with color, for my DH and I, it is our favorite time of year. Enjoy, be safe, don't do anything we wouldn't do. :S- |
dutyfree,
In Ira's absence, I'll answer that. Fax or phone call is best for the Bonaparte. They are always very prompt in responding to my faxes. Get on this right away for the end of October. That's a busy time for them. |
IRA,
I presume you're on your way by now. We'll be in NYC next weekend and are hoping for a little color. Hurry back....we miss you! |
Yes, Ira will be missed - i sincerely would nominate him for Fodors Hall of Fame for sure - so polite, so informed and no attitude.
|
I would add though that Ira should try, when he comes back, to be more consice! Often his answers ramble on and on and on! (Joking of course!)
|
Wishing you both a wonderful time !
