I am sure transfer is not allowed for many reasons..for example brokers buy up prime weekends early at discount and resell them..could be big and profitable business..same with discount air tickets. I have noted that often the non refundable and next higher refundable are not that different but sometimes there is a major savings..have to weigh it out.

I don't give a rat's @ss about the reservations or the costs, what worries me is why our dear Ira has to cancel. We know he has been in bad health in the past few years.

Ira, I really hope you are all right and will be able to schedule another trip, and write us about it very soon.

He's fine, nukesafe. We bought his Budapest hotel reservations and have been in touch.
