"I am allergic to..." (How to say...)
I'd like to know how to say "I am allergic to goat cheese" in both German and Italian.
The following are translations from www.freetranslation.com - are they accurate? Sono allergico al formaggio di capra. - Italian Ich bin allergisch zu Ziegenkäse. - German I plan on writing the cards I've seen many mention. My allergies are not life threatening but I will get an annoying rash. Thanks :) |
While I am not a languages teacher (or expert), those look excellent to me.
Best wishes, Rex |
"Ich bin allergisch gegen Ziegenkäse" is correct.
Viel Spass! |
Schuler is correct. In German, you are allergic "gegen" etwas, not "zu."
In Italian, you are allergico(a) "a" qualcosa. If you are female, you must say "Sono allergica al formaggio... |
Thanks everyone! :)
And yes, I am female. |
