We stayed in The Bridge Hotel www.thebridgehotel.nl in September for one night. The rate was about $85. The double room had a bathroom and was spacious (with a small balcony over a canal and two sets of french doors leading to it), and it had a TV. It was basic, the furniture was a little beat up, and the bathroom could have used some updating, but it was very clean (white duvets, crisp clean sheets), and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I'd stay there again, especially at that rate (I think it's lower in winter & spring), and I think it was well-located, on the Amstel River, near the "skinny bridge" (neighborhood felt safe--easy walk to museums, rembrandtplein, Dam Square, etc.).

Re:HOtel Pulitzer<BR>Have stayed there many times and am going again in a few weeks. Friend and I got a 245Euro/nite weekend (Thurs-Sun) deal from starwood's website - look for Endless Weekend promo. Ours includes breakfast (very hearty). This hotel is 5star so you get all the frills, including non-smoking room guarantee which is hard to achieve in Amsterdam (or anywhere in Europe for that matter). Hope you're there before end of Keukenhof season!!!
