2 years ago I tried making a reservation at the Hotel Casci, there were no rooms available at the time and they recommended the Colomba Hotel which is a few doors away from them, we had a very nice stay there, very nice people, clean rooms, comfortable and great breakfast.

I might need to try that, so far I have not heard a thing from Casci.
How did you communicate with Hotel Casci when you made your reservation request?

Hotel Casci was having trouble with their e-mail. I found out when I called them. I wanted to know why they never responded to my three e-mails. Turns out they didn’t know they had a problem, and I let them know at least one other person (you) was trying to get through to them. Anyway, I made my room reservation on the phone. I wanted to get it over with.

Maybe they’ve solved the problem now, and you’ll be able to reserve via e-mail. Or, you might just want to call them.
