The best wine is the least of her worries. They need to redesign the entire trip with feasible logistics.

Thanks for all the replies.
@bobthenavigator - thanks for the support...eek. This is NOT my first time in Europe and planning a trip over a month out has never been a problem. I thank you for the words of caution but to be negative and not constructive is pointless. Everyone else - thanks a lot, the trip is coming together nicely! I am looking into Lake Garda:) I am looking for any good recommendations on Florence apartments? I was going through VRBO and while there are lots of availability, few of them have reviews. Any feedback would be helpful! |
Great choice on another day in Rome - so much to do there, going back for the 5th time in Oct and still have plenty new stuff I want to do/see
And Bob could stand to lighten up a bit |
Make sure not to plan your Oktoberfest visit on a weekend, because it will be so crowded that you are likely not even to get in a tent. This is especially the case on saturdays and the last sunday this year.

I was merely hoping to save her honeymoon. If you want me to be specific, here you go:
1. Do not get your car in Germany or Austria 2. Do not try to drive so far to the CT when days are shorter 3. Consider another CT village than Riomaggiore. With a car, I would stay in Monterosso or Portovenere. 4. Overall, I would start the trip in Italy since your limited time in Munich will be too much hassle. I would start in Venice, train to the CT, and not get my car until after the CT--in La Spezia or Pisa. Make the Tuscany location your primary venue. Hope this helps. I love honeymoons. |
i am looking into piedmont - any recos on winery tours?
