Depending on whether you'd like to relax and see some of the beautiful countryside or just do another city, my advice would be to spend two nights at Lake Como and take a day trip to Milan!

Hi Mel,

Is there a reason that you would prefer to spend more time in Amsterdam than in Paris?

Otherwise, your France-Italy portion looks good to me.

Hi ira...Amsterdam is actually for Business... the rest of the trip is personal and geared towards getting to Amsterdam.

WOW! Are you running around alot!

You're gulping down a gourmet meal. What's the hurry?

I say...Go fewer places and enjoy each of them all the more. Why not save something for next year?

It seems like some of us here are often telling other people to cut down on the number of stops on the trip.
I'm one of them.
If it were me, it's way too many stops with way too little time in each place.

Hi Harvey...

Might be a while before I get back..35..just married..no kids yet! The pressure is on...I am planning this trip because I figure once we start having kids my travel days will be over for awhile. We also lucked into some free accomadations...because of a mess upon our honeymoon...3 nights at the Intercontinental Le Grande in Paris,
plus 2 nights at the Holiday Inn in Florence and finally 4 more nights anywhere as long as it is a Holiday Inn Express...or two nights anywhere at a regular Holiday Inn plus one more night at an express.

I know confusing..imagine planning all this!

Hi Mel,

It's more traveling than I would do, but you're getting free accomodations.

elaine....

If you had to pick Germany or Switzerland what do you think? Or should we just spend more time in Switzerland...basically, I have to get to Amsterdam by Septemebr 12th. And I can't change my Paris portion of the trip..so I have Sept 1-11 to play with.

Any ideas are welcomed!
