Help me find moderately priced hotels in ROME.
Hotels in central Rome are expensive! I am thinking of doing a few days in Rome in May and I want to find a inexpensive hotel for around $120 a night or less near the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon or Piazza Navona. I am not interested in staying near the Vatican, Colleseum, Trastevere or train station.
Any ideas? |
Topping and recommendation:
Others will have lots of ideas, as well, but I was happy with the Hotel Italia. It's in your price range and we happily walked to all of the sites you mention and others. |

Try the website for Hotel Panda. Two blocks from the Piazza di Spagna.

Hotel Giardino Rome, nice 2 star, great location, about 4 minutes walk from the Trevi.
|
Another possibility - Hotel Parlamento.

We found Hotel Raffaello on a walk in last June. It was 105 euro/night. It was centrally located. We walked to all your interested spots easily. The hotel was clean, nicely furnished and the desk personnel were very helpful with sight & restaurant recommendations.
You can find them at www.hotelraffaello.it. |
I just checked Hotel Raffallo site and it quoted me 611 euro for two people for three nights!
