Another one of those Texans--San Antonio--by way of Oregon, Tennessee, Illinois, Kentucky, Arizona, and Brazil. So, when are we Texans going to get together?

A rural area outside of a very small Illinois River town named Bath, Illinois - no connection or resemblance to Bath, England. We are the home of three taverns, no groceries, no gasoline, no schools, but the notorious gangster Al Capone had a hideaway here. We like to travel to remind ourselves that there is another kind of life out there....

Born in the "valley". Like oh my Gosh!! I grew up as a child in Simi Valley (i.e. where the Rodney King case was held). I finished high school in the valley, lived in Pasadena, in San Diego ten years, and now I'm back in LA. In all places....HOLLYWOOD!

Born in San Diego, in the soverign state of California, though I now live in Agoura Hills, next to Ventura County and close to Kinsey Milhone territory, if you read Sue Grafton novels.

Great to see all those Canadians with a hunger for travel information. Presently reside in a small town about 2 hours northwest of Toronto that became infamous for it's water quality about 6 years ago. Is there an established way for one poster to contact another?

kflodin Feb 7th, 2006 06:59 PM
