gotta know!! what country are you from??

Hi! I've been spending some time now on this
site, and can tell sometimes from clues, or
outright statements, where some posters are from. Meeting people from other cultures and
countries has been my favorite pastime for
many years now..(isn't this really why we all love to travel?) so, no specifics, just country, region, or city, whatever you want,
WHERE DO YOU HAIL FROM???

daisy58 Jan 14th, 2006 09:55 PM

OOPS! forgot to answer my own question!

Degas, where in north Georgia? (It would be great if you could finish your story starter.) I live in Ringgold, Georgia and teach in Rossville which is about as far north in Georgia until you cross the Tennessee border into Chattanooga and of course all of this is in the USA. I wiush I could say that I had lived somewhere exotic or in an old country but the closest connection is my father's family which came from England about four generations before him and ended up in Mississippi. His grandfather was every bit the English gentleman and his father required everyone to dress (suit and tie) for dinner every day. But I digress, where again in north GA?
