Paternal ancestral side were transported to the new world from Ireland after being convicted of stealing tobacco from the English.

Maternal ancestral side escaped France in order to retain there heads on their shoulders during the revolution.

Several generations later I turn up and currently enjoy living in the harbour city of Sydney.

I don't know if I have a membership in tedgale's coterie, but I call Toronto Canada home. tedgale I do cheer for your city's hockey team, so that must earn me some points :)

I live across the river from Tegdale in Aylmer, Quebec (now known as Gatineau due to amalgamation of eastern Quebec towns). Part of the Canadian coterie but also distinctly different!
