Getting around by Bus easy?
 
Hi,
In Rome and FLorence, is the city bus systems easy to navigate?
Just in case get pooped and want to take the bus instead of walking.
Any tips greatly appreciated.

In my experience;

Rome yes.
Florence, no.

Bus is more useful in Rome than in Florence.

In Rome, you must buy your bus ticket BEFORE you get on. A Roma Pass is a good way to address this issue if you are visiting enough monuments.

In Florence, you CAN buy ticket after you get on the bus at higher price with exact change.
