Yes, I knew we had to park our car while in Wengen, but thanks for the heads up. Im wondering where you think would be a good place to stop before heading South after Heidelberg going to Wurzburg and Nurmburg? Maybe even a night in Munick. ???Thanks!

Heidelberg going to Wurzburg and Nurmburg>

The Castle Road goes between Heidelberg and Rothenburg - worth a night and is right on the way to Nurnberg. Rothenburg can be a zoo in the daytime but at night most tourists have gone and the town takes on a real charm - check out the popular Night Watchman's Tour.

Munich for just a night would be a hassle - driving around, etc.

Perfect! I looked up the Night Watchmans Tour...looks like fun, and have booked a night there! Then on to Nurnberg...
