Thanks for the comments, folks! Lots of great ideas for our extremely brief visit to an amazing city. And yes, it is our intention to return for a leisurely week another year.
Judy - no our trip isn't until next May, so it's not to see the Christmas Decor. Just wanted to show the shopper in our group the store and the ceiling. Now I'm thinking that we can save it for the next trip for sure.
All of your comments have convinced me to start planning for the longer trip soon.
But first, we have only the four hours to make the most, efficient use of. Which includes the space needle looking thingy.

If you are at the Opéra the Galeries Lafayette is right behind it so I don't know why you couldn't stop in and check it out for a minute or two.
