Flight between Paris and Vienna
Can you recommend which airline for these cities? How long is the flight? How much is the rate around January 2006? Any website that is worth to do search on? Thanks.

www.sidestep.com It is a 4 hour flight. I can't find my list of all the intra-Europe airlines but hopefully other will join in the discussion. |

Three airlines fly non-stop between CDG and VIE. ~7 daily flights each on Air France and Austrian, and one on Air Berlin (maybe summer months only).
Since Vienna isn't served by many discount carriers, prices are kind of high. Or you can fly |
Sorry...
Or you can fly Europe from Paris Orly to Bratislava, Slovakia, which is an hour from Vienna by direct shuttle bus. No fares posted for January yet, but there are fares as low as 14 euros one-way, plus tax. |
CDG-VIE is 645 miles, a 2-hour flight on most airlines' timetable.
|
Interesting... I'm showing:
Alitalia (Flight Details) $298.52 Depart: Vienna, (VIE) 1/1 5:55 pm 1 Stop to Paris, (CDG) 9:45 pm Return: Paris, (CDG) 1/28 5:40 pm 1 Stop to Vienna, (VIE) 10:00 pm Why would they show 4+ hours? |
sorry, I just realized there's a layover in the flights I chose.
|
A/R and Austrian airlines are your best bets..go to the A/F site and to the French and you can enter your dates...I did a 1/10/2006 and return 1/17/06 and received a 74 euro fare..give it a try...
|
A posting boo-boo....that was A/F...Air France.....give them a call and they can tell you all.

Thanks for your help, anybody know the website for Air Austria?
|
|
I just used Austrian's site and it was quite easy. Because the last leg of the trip I booked is on Air France they had to mail me paper tickets, couldn't e-ticket. The staff was friendly and helpful.
They have 4 nonstop flights a day CDG-VIE. AF also has 3 nonstops per day. You can also check online at http://matrix.itasoftware.com/cvg/dispatch/ |
