Good for you for skipping the hair straightener. I warned them, but two of my students burned up their dryers and fuses were blown out another time (no one ever fessed up). Most hotels have dryers, if not in the room, at the front desk.

What Wal-Mart was that? Are you in Europe? I went to the Wal-Mart near me and the only adaptor they sold was one for any receptacle world-wide for $10. (Perfect if you fear you might go to sleep in Italy and awake in China.)

Good news. Radio Shack online shows the European adapter at $2.99.
