What area is the hotel in? Is it within walking distance to Plaza Navona? Are there good restaurants around? Thanks.

The Hotel Due Torri is between the Piazza Navona and the Spanish Steps. It within reasonable walking distance from most of the popular sights and restaurants.

The best part is that it is on a quiet street without the noise of traffic which can be an issue in Rome.

Well, it depends, Nan. A taxi ride, during the day, from FCO to central Rome will cost around 100.000 lire, whereas a mini van transfer, for 8 people, (what a taxi wouldn't do), is the same price. It will depend on your party. If you're alone, a shuttle will be likely the most reasonably priced. If you're a couple, a tranfer will probably cost you 80.000 lire. The taxi ride can be more expensive, if the driver is charging by the meter, because during the rush hours, when the traffic is pretty slow, it will hit more than 100.000 lire. Not a big difference, though.

Surlok
