Some guide books would be very, very useful to you. Pick up some Fodors and Rick Steve's for each country or city you plan to visit.

A good thread to remind us all that not everyone plans their holidays to the last minute, including what they are going to see, do and eat at every second of every day.

Though the OP's travel style is a bit too free style [one might almost say "off piste"] even for me.

I only imagine it being like traveling to another state for me. You get there,sight see,eat,see some more and move on to the next place. It doesn’t seem like rocket science. Right??? it isn’t just a spontaneous trip I’m taking. I have done some research and planned a bit. That doesn’t mean things will go accordingly also.
