It doesn't make sense to stay at a nice resort and then commute 120 miles round trip each day to Venice. Why not stay at the resort for a few days to recharge your batteries AND stay a few days in a hostel in Venice. At some point during this trip you will need to relax and smell the roses ;)

Hi nessagirl,
I didn't realize you had 2 threads going. I answered your other one. Click on my name or your name to see it. I encourage you to visit your family and taste some real Italian food! (Skip the resort.) |
120 miles? The OP quoted kilometers. Padova is 30 minutes from Venice by frequent train service, though don't know where the timeshare is in relation to the train station, so it might take a good deal more time making the connection.. If I wanted to visit Venice, I would probably stay in Venice, especially on a first trip.

Franco--Toulouse instead of Nice? Surely you gest!!
I re-christened"rose-city" tolouse "The Yellow City". The stench of stale urine in the streets was omnipresent in late May. Weeds lining the canal made it so unattracctivel.is that the norm? I was disappointed to find little of charm or interest there. |
