You left off the "o", Sam.

Boy, this is really hard to follow for some people, huh?
Sue Aug 14th, 2002 02:37 PM

Let's see--if I understand this right, you type & immediately followed by the word euro immediately followed by a semicolon. We shall see:

€
€144 (that's to see if I can put it with a number).

Sue Aug 14th, 2002 02:38 PM

Wow! When we get registration for this forum, I know what name I will be registering!

And of course, all of a sudden, this raises the nightmare question that Fodors must be contemplating.

What's to keep some prankster from registering ANY name before it's "rightful owner" (historically) gets aroud to using the new registration system!?
cd Aug 14th, 2002 03:00 PM

Ok, I'm feeling stupid. When I hit num lock and then type ALT 0128, I get euro sign on my screen and even on my email screen and print out. However, when I enter that into Fodors.com Travel Talk, I get a ? mark. What am I doing wrong? Rex? Anyone?
Thanks, Dottie
