It is this board that is screwed up. On any windows keyboard, if you type ALT-0128 (on the numeric keyboard), you get the ? symbol. I just did that and the Euro symbol is indeed on my screen loooking at it now but as soon as I post, this board is screwed up and will convert it to a ?. Just another sign of stupidity on the part of Fodors.
|
Ç
Is what I get from alt 128. that is not the euro symbol.
I am going to post this and see if it come through.
|
?????
|
Yes, XXX, but HOW did nash do it? Is he an economist?
|
Clarification to Bob:

Ç is alt-128

? is alt-0128 - - which looks like a euro symbol when you are composing the post, but then does not display right.

It remains a secret that "beautiful mind nash" has not yet shared with us as to how the first post here was done. Maybe he had some kind of chips embedded in his forearm!
Does any Fodors staff member have any light to shed on this mystery. Presumably you can read, ASCII character by character, what exactly nash transmitted to you in the original post.

Or is this hacking? Or experimenting by your own staff?
