Thank you Cigale.

I am making note of all these suggestions; the restaurant in Gourdon recommended by St. Cirq--Hostellerie de la Bouriane--seem to be open for lunch only on Sundays. It looks like a lovely place to eat..and to stay.

I would like to try La Table du Terroir near Montignac...do you think that local restaurants in the region would serve lunch on a weekday until 2pm? (I cannot find the hours on their website)

My experience has been that most places will not seat or serve you after about 2:30, but 2 should be fine.

Thanks, St. Cirq. I want to make sure to arrive in time for lunch!

Just topping this to say we had an excellent lunch at Table du Terroir near Montignac. I thought I had reported on it but cannot find the post...

I would recommend reserving ahead...

Does anyone have the phone or address of the restaurant Le Barrail in La Chapelle Aubereil outside Montignac?
