I live in Dublin and have been to Dingle quite a few times. Having travelled quite a bit I can still say it's one of my favourite places! The scenery is really beautiful and the pubs/restaurants are great. Having said that, I spent a few days this summer in a hotel called The Derrynane in Caherdaniel on the Ring. Absolutely fantastic! Cosy hotel with friendly staff and fabulous food in a restaurant overlooking the ocean. If you want fabulous scenery, I would highly recommend it. There are some great walks to go on and the beaches are amazing. There's a great little beach bar (the only one in Ireland apparently!) that does a lovely pint of Guinness.
