We are back from Ireland. An FYI, we stayed at Cill Bhreac and would it was not good. Cold. Not very helpful. The worst B&B we stayed in in Ireland. We stopped by the Emlagh (which was too full for us to stay at) and I would recommend that one. Whatever you do do not stay at the Cill Bhreac.

Thanks, adamsparks, for posting about Cil Bhreach. I was beginning to think that I was crazy because we did not like it, either but seemed to be the only ones!

Everyone should note that there is a difference between Emlagh Lodge (B&B) and Emalgh House (guest house) both in the same area of Dingle (near entrance to the Skellig Hotel).

Dear "Joolleeb" thank you for your lovely & kind comments regarding your stay at Emlagh Lodge in early June 2004, I do remember you both but I do not wish to print your names. Delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Emlagh Lodge. Most B+B are somebody's home, maybe not to everyone's liking or taste but it is still somebody's home. They are not all purpose built like a guesthouse or hotel which are designed to accommodate bigger beds or maybe 2 or 3 beds & with "Sun Rooms" or "Lounges". Most B+B are offering a nice clean room to sleep in, somewhere safe & cosy for you to sleep and refresh for your next days adventure while exploring Ireland & it's Counties & towns at a reasonable rate. Yes rooms
will vary in shapes & sizes but if you want large & spacious with sun rooms & lounges then opt for a hotel & their rates.
With regard to living next door to a "Waste Water
Treatment Plant".... Our home is located on the Shores of Dingle Bay and our prevailing wind is Westerly (Our front door is facing West & the "Waste Water Treatment Plant" is approx 100 metres East of our house) therefore we do not have a smell or noise & nobody has ever complained!
Our location is perfect!
I do apologise if my reply to "adamsparks" emails offended! I did not intent to?
Again "jooleeb" thank you for your kind comments.
