Come on, I know someone can answer this!

grandmere May 6th, 2004 01:40 PM

There must be a way, but I can't find it! I've tried to google many different combinations of words. (whine, whine!)

cmt May 6th, 2004 03:53 PM

Grandmere, you know that the photo is of Etna, right? You'll find another name.

grandmere May 6th, 2004 07:17 PM

Bocca Nuova?

cmt May 6th, 2004 07:28 PM

No. It's a single word. I just checked Google, and I found that if you did a search using just some of the clues provded, you'd find the answer. This is not too obscure.

Mongibello

Digital_Traveler May 8th, 2004 06:44 AM

I think Marcy got it.

cmt May 8th, 2004 07:54 AM

Yes, it's Mongibello. I am absolutely positive that I posted yesterday saying that it was correct and that it's her turn now. I wonder why I can't see my post. Maybe I posted on the wrong thread?! Or could it have been deleted in error by the Fodors editors, who should've been busy deleting some nasty posts elsewhere?
Ayway, yes, Marcy got it!

marcy_ May 8th, 2004 08:20 AM

OK, It's my turn.... I haven't played this before, so bear with me...

7 letters, the sixth letter is the "N" from mongibello.

Clue: Spanish/ French folk dance

marcy_ May 8th, 2004 01:35 PM

This dance can be seen in Catalonia.

cmt May 8th, 2004 01:39 PM

sardana?

marcy_ May 8th, 2004 02:25 PM

Correct! Your turn, cmt.
This thread is getting hard to post a reply to-- Is it because it's so long?
Maybe it's time to start a new one?

cmt May 9th, 2004 02:48 PM

You're right, Marcy. This is really too long. I'll think up a new clue later and start a new puzzle thread.
