19 days until we fly to Sicily/ Rome.

We are ready. I think.

Looking forward to trying all the delicious foods that have been recommended on this board (ricci!), and to experiencing Easter week on the island. And to seeing Siracusa, Noto, Agrigento, Etna. And to taking my kids to see the Colosseum.

It's my second time to Sicily, though my first trip was nearly 20 years ago (oy, it's hard getting older). I lived in Rome in college, so that always feels a bit like going home.

Eeek...8 weeks from today until we leave for Paris/Rome.

The only thing better than the actual trip is the anticipation of the actual trip! :)

50 days until Paris/Vienna. I always see T-50 as the most anticipatory...let's just go already! ;-)

14 days and 9 hours til I get to the airport for my Swiss trip! Woohoo!!! I desperately needed this break.

And I'm 47 days away from my Panama Cruise with my parents. :D

Two weeks for us and counting! Europe here we come!

45 days until I am back in Dubrovnik and like ggnga I hope to see if my heart and my head are still saying yes! If so, I will be returning in October.

2 weeks until we go to New York City! I've only changed planes in the Big Apple. Finally, I can taste this pizza every single New Yorker I've ever met has gone on about :)

September 2008, a little over 6 months away!

not yet! its too far from now. though I have planning my itinerary and reasearching stuff for months!!!

second time to Italy but first time to Rome and the Amalfi Coast

What are you most looking forward to doing or seeing?

everything! eating, wine, hiking the amalfi coast, the chair lift up mount salero, pompeii, the sistene chapel.... I could go on and on!

10 days until Peru's sacred valley. I'm really worried I might have to cancel this though, given the strikes don't seem to be ending. Any insights?

403 days until hubby's and my 25th anniversary trip to Prague-Cesky Krumlov-Vienna-Budapest-Salzburg! I have about a dozen guidebooks and a half-dozen books on history of those areas to get through between now and then!

7 days to London with our dear adult children...for their very first time! I am worried someone will get the flu...I have been using hand sanitizer like crazy...keep healthy Fodorites!

Judy -- That's so funny you said that. My mom, who leaves with me in 7-1/2 weeks for Paris/Rome was just insisting today that I take zinc and echinacea a week before we leave to avoid being sick during our trip.

Moms are so good at looking after us! :)

182 days and counting until I return to my favourite place on earth - Greece. And after that, I get to visit Italy for the first time!

Just two months and we are off to Barcelona. Then train to Carcassone for a night and next day rent car to drive to Albi and the Dordogne. From Sarlat area we will drive to St. Emilion for a short stay on a vineyard. Then, last, but most defintely not the least part of our trip, will be a week in Paris. We will take the TGV from Libourne.
