Off to Australia in October. Haven't begun counting the days yet. I'm currently lurking over on the Australia board. I won the trip through a contest on a SF television station! DH has worked in Australia and loves the country. I can't wait to see it!

about 32 days to Italy, now...

3 months and 10 days until we leave on our honeymoon to Germany, Switzerland and France! We just found cheap airfare (well cheap in comparison to what we've been seeing for the last 5 months) so it makes it all the more exciting. Saved close to $1k!!

May 25,06: We are off to Paris for a few days, then off to The Wine Road in Alsace Lorraine and back to Paris. (then home to California end of June).

Flygirl, try to pick up Miss Garnet's Angel (recommended earlier) before you go. I am reading now, just before I leave, and so far it is magical! (Almost to single digits now....)

I bought it! it's going on the trip with me... (unless I finish my Rome book first, in which case I can start it before the trip.)

I think it would be a good flight book, right?

Leaving two weeks from today--woohoooooo!!! France again--Provence, Lyon, then Paris. \:D/

Just about a month until we leave for Russia, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland. We've never been to any of these countries. Will do Russia with Eastern Tours and the Baltics on our own. Really looking forward to it.

I posted many weeks ago, when my trip was some 70 days away. Now it is two weeks and five days, and since I am in the middle of grading some of the worst student papers I've ever had the misfortune to read, I could not help but post again - more for myself, to remind myself that soon I will be blissfully away, no longer a teacher, and walking in the Welsh hills!

One week and one day. Off to London and Paris :) Happy, so very happy....

After back to back business trips to Virginia, North Dakota, California, and Maryland, it is great to now just wait to leave THIS COMING WEDNESDAY for the South of France!!! :-D

I am going to Marseille and Provence region on June 11th.

I will be in France for the most of June and July to study abroad at Aix-en-Provence.

In approximate 59 days I will be heading to Sicily for 18 days!!!! We'll spending a lot of time in a little charming town called Alia, a couple of hours south east of Palermo where my in-laws have a house. But we'll be making a 4day/3night trip to Taormina, and some day trips to Palermo and Agrigento. Yay!!!!!
