Mimi - Thank you for sharing your lovely photos with us. They reflect a love for travel and a passion for animals. I can tell you are a bonafide animal lover. :)

Photos of Pastis are precious.

Great photos, Mimi! It looks like you had a great trip. Thanks for sharing them.

cigalechanta Sep 30th, 2005 11:35 AM

Statia, the bulk of my trip photos are on my thread, France is a many splendered thing. Hope all is well with you,
My new dog is in love with the husband, alas.

Mimi, who is Pastis? Is Pastis your new dog, or does she/he belong to someone else? I really liked the photo of the waterwheel the best. Thanks for sharing.

Your friend,
John G.

Thank you for sharing. The photo of the Pont stands out to me. I love your Pastis too, what breed is she?

Am I the only one who can't see them? It asked me for a password to log in.

I opened a free account to allow me entrance to the site.

I'll check out the others, too, Mimi. Thanks. All is well here...just home trying to play catch up between trips. I'll be in touch as soon as I can. (big hug)

It looks like Pastis feels totally and blissfully at home. He's a nice size--easy to pick up if you feel like it, but big enough that he doesn
t look fragile.

Your friend's bird is an African gray parrot? Those birds can be amazing. They actually express themselves verbally (they don't just "parrot") and can even express humor. A good friend of mine has seven tropical birds including two African greys, one of whom is brilliant (and the other one isn't stupid either).

Hi everyone, Thanks. John, Pastis is an adopted 14 pound grey poodle we adapted.
Carol yes, this guy imitates one of the dogs, Volga, and the cat Caramel and fools me everytime.

Loved the photos of your new dog. I can't help myself, I have to ask, in what way have you "adapted" Pastis, he looked quite normal to me. Maybe he doesn't require feeding?

Only joking, he looks gorgeous, nearly as pretty as mine!

He (or is it a she?) is such a cute doggie, Mimi. And a lucky dog to be adopted by you and J.

Thanks for posting, love the photos.

cigalechanta Oct 1st, 2005 12:54 PM

shnauzer, He had to adapt to drinking Pastis. He preferred his Lillet :)

Thanks friends.

I see, well he doesn't look any the worse for it!

I think he is one lucky dog to have found such a loving home and you are lucky too in finding such a cutie.
