hello everybody!
i'd like to travel in barcelona in April.
does anybody knows chip hostels there where i can book? or any site about youth hostels in barcelona?

Its not a youth hostel, but it is cheap, quiet, and in a good location (I stayed there for 50 euros/night):

what is a "chip" hostel"? Somewhere with a fish fryer maybe?

In Barcelona it's more difficult to find cheap hostels or even youth hostels. YOUTH hostels are definitely cheaper than hostels but there, of course, you'll be sharing bedrooms and bathrooms.

Most of the cheaper hostels (called "hostales" in Spanish and "hostals" in Catalán - the regional language) are with shared bathroom facilities 'down the hall' and, in some cases, are not located in the best area or have the best reputations.
